Well. . .I thought it was about time to start a blog about our family, however, i thought it would be fun to tell you how it all got started!! Kevin and I both went to Messiah College. Back then they used to have three summer sessions where the "to be students" would go and pick their classes and spend the night in a dorm and meet others in their majors. It was a June weekend in 1998 and it was a long day of seminars and meeting people. That evening they had a time for the students to go to the gym and play games. Kevin and I both ended up being there and both decided to play basketball that night. I remember when i first saw him, i thought a guy like him would never like me, I even tried to make sure we would be put on the same team. It worked. We were put on the same team. The funny thing about that night is that when i left that weekend i thought his name was Steve! I talked about him all summer saying how i met this really great guy named Steve! Well. . .to make the long story short. . .we ended up running into each other the first weekend at Messiah. I had to get over the embarrassment that i had his name wrong and that my mother walked up to him and hugged him, asking him to take care of me. . .i thought for sure i would never see him again after that! :) But, thankfully God had other plans. Our relationship had ups and downs. . .but our God is bigger. If I would had only knew then what i know now. Well. . .Kevin and i got engaged in August of 2002 and we were married July 5, 2003. We will be celebrating 6 wonderful years this coming July! I am so blessed to have a wonderful Husband. I am so thankful that God brought us together.
